The Program in Sexuality Studies at Duke

The Program in the Study of Sexualities (SXL) provides a venue for understanding sexuality as a scholarly and intellectual subject. We offer one of the only undergraduate programs dedicated to sexuality studies in the United States. Building on Duke University’s reputation as a leader in sexuality studies and queer theory, the program fosters an interdisciplinary community of researchers and students interested this emerging field, notably through its varied calendar of lectures, workshops, and other events.
